Faneuil Hall Marketplace to Host Spring Job Fair and Music Festival

(Boston, MA) April 14, 2015- Faneuil Hall Marketplace will host a Spring Job Fair on Saturday, April 25 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Upper Rotunda of the Quincy Market building. Spring and Summer are the busiest seasons at the Marketplace as merchants are hiring additional staff to serve their customers. Various positions are open at the restaurants, retail stores, the Quincy Market Food Colonnade, pushcarts and kiosks. College students and anyone with an interest in working at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, one of the most iconic festival marketplaces in the world, are encouraged to apply.

“Our merchants are excited to invite young adults from across the region to interview for jobs at the Marketplace,” said Carol Troxell, President of Faneuil Hall Merchants Association. “Merchants are looking to hire full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions. The Job Fair is an excellent opportunity for job applicants to come down to the Hall and meet the merchants all in one place.”

Coinciding with the Spring Job Fair, students from the Boston College Music Guild will stage the “Break the Bubble” music festival on the West End at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. The festival will consist of 20+ independent groups and musicians from Boston College who perform for audiences beyond their campus walls. The festival will begin at 11:00am and will continue throughout the day until 7:00pm.
