Sunday Fire at 24 Fleet Street

A fire broke out in the vents of Prezza Restaurant in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Boston Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 24 Fleet Street at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, according to NorthEndWaterFront.com. The fire reportedly broke out in the kitchen ducts of Prezza Restaurant. This three-story building also has six apartment units in it as well.

 

Through Twitter, Boston Fire reported that the fire travelled to the second floor ceiling. There was heavy smoke and seven residents were displaced. The damages were estimated at $350,000. Four firefighters were taken to the hospital for minor injuries to their backs, wrists, legs and arms respectively. No civilians were injured. The scene was cleared at 7:15 a.m.
