The MBTA shut down Green Line service Friday afternoon after a power problem.
Shuttle buses were being used instead—but there will be “severe” delays and officials told commuters to use alternate transportation is possible.

The MBTA first reported the problem at about 4 p.m. A restoration timetable was not immediately provided.

- Reservoir
- Chestnut Hill
- Newton Centre
- Newton Highlands
- Eliot
- Waban
- Woodland
- Riverside
