Local Restaurants Come Together to Support The Home for Little Wanderers

7th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition

On November 30th, 2015 The Home for Little Wanderers kicked-off the 2015 Holiday Season with their 7th Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston. The annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition has become an annual fundraiser where local chefs, media personalities and other familiar faces from all over Boston come together with kids and sponsors from the community to celebrate The Home’s annual Big Wishes Gift Drive. All of the event’s proceeds are used to support some of the state’s most vulnerable children and families who are served by The Home for Little Wanderers. The Home positively impacts over 7,000 lives a year through its wide network of services. The Home’s broad continuum of cares offers an array of behavioral health services, therapeutic residential and special education programs, and adoption and foster care services. In addition, a number of innovative programs provide specialized assistance to youth transitioning into adulthood from state systems of care. All of the programs offered aim to help kids thrive and succeed.
