Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Boston Registration is Open
North End residents invited to register and raise funds to ensure no one facing breast cancer will have to walk alone in their journey.
Registration is open for this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Boston. This fundraiser walk for the American Cancer Society is set for Sunday, October 2, rain or shine, at the DCR Hatch Shell in Boston. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than one million volunteers across the U.S. with a shared determination to help free the world from the pain and suffering of breast cancer. Boston’s event is in its 24th year. When you walk and raise money for the Making Strides program, you ensure no one facing breast cancer will ever have to walk alone. Money raised helps the American Cancer Society fund innovative breast cancer research; provide free, comprehensive information and support for those touched by breast cancer; and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable. For complete information on how to register, donate or volunteer, visit www.MakingStridesWalk.org/BostonMA or email BostonMAStrides@cancer.org.
