North End Businesses Land 'Best of Boston' Awards

Boston magazine’s annual “Best of Boston” issue hit newsstands this week, marking the 42nd anniversary of the awards.

Over the course of this past year, a team of judges ate, drank and shopped their way all over the city in an effort to seek out the premiere businesses scattered throughout the many neighborhoods in the area.

The magazine presented several businesses in the North End area with awards in the “Dining,” ”Shopping” and “Service” categories.

Here’s a look at the winners:

• Dining/Sandwich: Monica’s Mercato & Salumeria
• Dining/Seafood: Neptune Oyster
• Shopping/Lingerie: Sedurre
• Service/Sports Massage: Exhale Battery Wharf

Awards were handed out in categories including dining, shopping, service, arts & entertainment, nightlife and more.

283 awards in total were presented to establishments across the city.
