RCN & WAAF To Spin At HomeStart's ICycle Event
RCN will join forces with WAAF-FM for HomeStart's ICycle event to help raise funds and awareness about homelessness.
Today RCN announced that for the third year in a row, they will join forces with WAAF-FM for HomeStart’s ICycle event to help raise funds and awareness about homelessness. RCN’s Jennifer Sciamanna and Anastasia Gallardo will spin at the outdoor ICycle event to be held outdoors on the plaza at One International Place. Also, Lyndon Byers (LB), of the Hill-Man Morning Show and former Boston Bruins tough guy, will attend the event to cheer on the team. HomeStart is a Boston-based non-profit organization that provides assistance to individuals and families facing homelessness in the region.
In previous years, RCN’s Jennifer Sciamanna has gone head-to-head with LB for two hours during a marathon spinning session that benefited HomeStart’s mission. Jennifer and Anastasia will spin from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in support of the fight against homelessness.
“This year’s ICycle will be another epic spinning session and we are excited to partner with our friends at WAAF to help raise money to fight homelessness,” said Jeff Carlson, Vice President and General Manager of RCN Boston. “RCN and WAAF believe in giving back to the communities where we work and live. This is a great opportunity for us to remind ourselves and others that spending an hour outside on a spin bike is nothing compared to being homeless.”
