Santander Provides Community Opportunity to Contribute to Goya Exhibition in Boston
Community Project Encourages Public to Celebrate Goya's Artistry

Aspiring artists and others are invited to participate in a public art project to celebrate Goya: Order and Disorder, a landmark exhibition dedicated to Spanish master Francisco Goya (1746–1828) at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Santander has commissioned local artist James Weinberg of Somerville to create a paint-by-numbers mural of Goya’s masterpiece The Parasol (1777, Museo Nacional del Prado) and is inviting the public to pick up a brush and join in the fun.
The mural painting project will be in Boston’s Copley Square between Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library on October 18 and October 19 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Santander Bank, N.A., through the Fundación Banco Santander in Madrid, is sponsoring the exhibition that runs at the MFA from October 12, 2014 through January 19, 2015.
