STIR at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

On Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m., the Isabella Stewart Gardner’s contemporary musical experience, Stir, presents Barry Schwabsky, a poet, and Marianne Nowottny, a composer. Schwabsky, the Gardner’s 2014 Artist-in-Residence, and Nowottny will premiere new compositions of poetry and electronic music, following those on their 2012 CD, A Voice Hears You from Mysterious Places. The event will take place in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s Calderwood Hall, located at 25 Evans Way, Boston, Mass. Tickets are required, which may be purchased in advance or at the door, and include Museum admission. Admission is $15 for adults; $12 for seniors, $5 for students with valid IDs; free for children 7 to 17; and youth age 7 and under are not admitted.
