Boston, MA – Whittier Street Health Center will be hosting an All-Star Roast Reunion to honor Boston-area business leaders who have also served as leaders and champions for Healthcare and Health Equality, and have supported Whittier’s mission and growth since 2003. The event is hosted/commentated by nationally noted social and political humorist and stand-up comedian Jimmy Tingle, and will be held at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, April 9th at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

Alumni members of the All-Star Roast Reunion include: Bill Van Faasen, former Chair and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts; Paul La Camera, former General Manager of WCVB-TV and WBUR, and a 2004 All-Star Roast Honoree; Ted Kelly, former Chairman and CEO of Liberty Mutual, Founder of The Kelly Family Foundation, and a 2005 All-Star Roast Honoree; Tom O’Neill, President and CEO of O’Neill Communications and a 2006 All-Star Roast Honoree; Bob Mahoney, former Vice Chair of Citizens Bank, current President and CEO of Belmont Savings Bank, and a 2007 All-Star Roast Honoree; Robert Beal, Chair and President of The Beal Companies and a 2008 All-Star Roast Honoree; Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, President and CEO of Partners Health Care; Edward Benz Jr., MD, President and CEO of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a 2011 All-Star Roast Honoree; Paul Grogan, President and CEO of the Boston Foundation and a 2012 All-Star Roast Honoree; Andrew Dreyfus, Chair and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and a 2013 All-Star Roast Honoree; Ralph de la Torre, MD, Chair and CEO of Steward Health Care System and a 2014 All-Star Roast Honoree.
Whittier Street Health Center is honored to celebrate the contributions of these Alumni members to Whittier and their mission over the past 12 years, and is extremely grateful and proud of over $5 million that these members have helped to fundraise in that time. Whittier Street Health Center is a Joint Commission accredited, private, non-profit, independently licensed community health center dedicated to providing high quality, reliable and accessible primary healthcare and support services for diverse populations to promote wellness and eliminate health and social disparities.
