WoodSlipperCounterClatter

Event hosted by the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

As a part of the Isabella Stewart Gardner’s STIR Concert Series on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7:00 p.m., poet Susan Howe and musician/composer David Grubbs come together for “WoodSlipperCounterClatter.” The performance is a sound-work experience that grew out of new, unpublished text collages by Howe with the resonant sounds of the piano and field recordings made in the Gardner Museum last year. Tickets are required and include Museum admission. Museum admission is $15 for adults; $12 for seniors, $5.00 for students with valid IDs; and youth age 18 and under are free.
