The Hornets, coming off a strong defensive season, open at home against Greater Lowell on Friday, Sept. 11, as part of a full Division 5 preview of Eastern Mass. teams.
• Wakefield Arts & Crafts Society Begins 2026-2027 Season (thereadingpost.com) — Crafters from North Reading are invited to join the Wakefield Arts & Crafts Society, which is kicking off its new season and drawing members from many nearby towns. A Free Guest Day on October 6 lets newcomers try two crafts, meet members, and see if the group is a good fit, with accessible space and free parking.
