North Reading Public Schools 2016 Winter Vacation Dates

2016 is coming to a close, and that means students will have some time away from school. Here are some important school dates to know.

NORTH READING, MA — The kids probably can't wait, but you sure can. Here's some important school dates to know about going forward this winter.

According to the North Reading Public Schools calendar, students will have an early release on Dec. 16. Schools will be closed on Dec. 23, and the following week.

New Year's Day is the following Sunday, so it is being observed on Monday, Jan. 2. Students return to school Tuesday, Jan. 3.

All in all, the students will be off starting on Dec. 3 and will return to school Jan. 3.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will have students off on Monday, Jan. 16.
