NORTH READING--  Auditions for the 2016-2017 acapella group will be June 8 at 2:30 in Room A12. Those  trying out should be prepared to sing a pop song of the group's choosing. The group is looking for singers and beatboxers. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society  will host a fundraiser walk on June 18 in Wakefield, on Lake Quannapowitt. The society needs student volunteers, which will help with walker registration, photography, rest stops, set up and clean up. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Caroline Laurendeau at caroline.laurendeau@nmss.org  There will be a meeting for those interested in playing  boy's fall soccer on Tuesday, June 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.There will be a student council meeting on June 9 for members of the 2016-2017 council; the meeting will focus on event planning and will take place in the cafeteria at 2:05 p.m. There will be a National Honor Society meeting for new members on June 7 at 2:15 p.m. in the cafeteria.  An EcoTeam meeting will take place Wednesday, June 15 in room 311; the group will discuss summer community service.Photo courtesy of Gaelle Marcel

The Temple Emanuel Sisterhood invites the community to Mah Jongg Madness, an afternoon of friendly competition, connection, and fun for Mah Jongg players of all experience levels. 
Open to the public, this community event will feature Mah Jongg play, prizes, table rotations, and opportunities to socialize with friends—both old and new. To encourage engagement and friendly competition, players of varying skill levels will be mixed and tables will rotate throughout the afternoon. Instructions on rules, scoring, and movement will be provided at check-in, along with a brief overview before play begins. Light refreshments will be served.COST:
