Norton High Swim & Dive Team

It has been a rebuilding year for the Norton High School Swim & Dive team.  After graduating a large number of seniors last year the team is comprised of  a significant percentage of athletes who are new to the sport.  In addition, Coach Logan Pearsall joined the Lancers this year as head coach with Coach Jennie Dempsey returning as dive coach.   The team got off to a tough start but registered wins last week against the Advanced Math & Science Academy of Marlboro, MA & their first Tri-Valley League victory against Holliston.

To date swimmers Madie Thomson (junior), Olivia Karcis (senior) & Paul Karcis (freshman) have qualified for sectionals with Thomson also qualified for the state meet.  Sophomore diver Elliot Ariola qualified for sectionals in his first year of diving but has been sidelined due to an injury.

The Lancers face Dover-Sherborn on Monday, January 21st in their last home meet of the season.  Start time is 7pm at Wheaton College.
