MA Teen Threatened To 'Shoot Up' School With AR-15: Police
A Taunton High student who had previous disciplinary issues was arrested after allegedly threatening two school resource officers.

TAUNTON, MA β A Taunton teen was arrested Monday after attempting to enter Taunton High School and threatening to "shoot up the school" with an AR-15, police said. Kane Jefferson, 18, was expected to return to school Monday after having previous disciplinary issues and was met at the front door by two school resource officers around 10:45 a.m.
Jefferson had a backpack on when he arrived and did not want to speak to the officers, according to police. He allegedly became "animated and non-compliant," threatening the lives of the officers. He was then taken to the security office, where he threatened to "disarm them, kill them, then return with an AR-15 and shoot up the school," police said.
Jefferson allegedly resisted officers' attempts to arrest him. He was brought to the ground after a brief struggle and handcuffed, police said.
