NORTON, MA β A Norton High School wrestling star displayed an uncommon act of sportsmanship this weekendβlosing his first match to a special needs student who simply βwanted a match.β

Deven Schuko went down to Dighton-Rehoboth wrestler Andy Howland. It was Schukoβs first loss of the season and put him at 27-1.
βHe wanted a match, and I wanted to tangle with him,β Schuko told WCVB. Heβs ranked one of the top wrestlers in Massachusetts.

Howland, who has Down Syndrome, was thrilled. A local firefighter captured the match on videoβHowland can be seen high-fiving teammates.
βSportsmanship is alive and well today,β Howlandβs mother told WCVB.
