Nortonites To Perform in 'Meet Me in St. Louis'
Rousing comedy makes for great family night out.
If you are looking for an entertaining family show this weekend, head on down to Bishop Feehan High School to see "Meet Me in St. Louis."
This lively comedy portrays the trials and antics of the Smith family of St. Louis. With the World's Fair coming to town, four daughters and one college-age son, Lonnie Smith certainly has enough going on in his life, but a surprise promotion to run the New York office sets his already mischievous brood into a series of hilarious antics designed to waylay the best of plans.
Directed by Alden Harrison, now in his 23rd year directing plays and musicals at Bishop Feehan, this three-act comedy is based on the book by Sally Benson and adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel. Harrison encourages the public to take some time during their holiday season preparations to come and see the show, "It is a very family oriented show, filled with comedy and laughter."
