• 2 Mass. drivers dead in head-on R.I. crash (boston.com) — A 44-year-old Norton man died after his pickup was struck head-on by another vehicle on Route 295 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, according to state police. Investigators say the other driver, killed at the scene, was reportedly speeding and driving recklessly before losing control. Authorities cite speed and loss of control as primary factors as the probe continues.
