4-Year-Old Drowns in Pool at Norwood Home
The child was found in the bottom of a pool at a Norwood home according to police.

A 4-year-old child passed away Friday afternoon after apparently drowning in a pool at a Norwood home.
Police say they received a 911 for a small child that was found at the bottom of the pool. When officials arrived at the home, they found a neighbor and family members performing CPR on the small child. Norwood Fire Department paramedics took over CPR and transported the small child to Norwood Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The child, who is not a Norwood resident, was visiting the home. Police believe the death was an accident with no foul play. The incident is being investigated by Norwood police detectives and the Norfolk District Attorney’s office as a matter of protocol.
