Highlights from the agenda for the Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

  • Superintendent Gerry Miller, of the Recreation Department, will be submitting the monthly report of the department’s activities.
  • There will be a 7:15 p.m. meeting with P.B.C.C. and Tim Bonfatti, OPM, Norwood High School.
  • Edmund W. Mulvehill, Jr., Director of Veterans’ Services will be submitting a parade permit for the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 28, and submitting an invitation to the Board to march at the head of the parade.
  • At 7:45 p.m. the Board will go into Executive Session to discuss the physical and mental health condition of an employee.
  • Chief Michael J. Howard, NFD, will be submitting a request for a Special Town Meeting Warrant article to replace the Fire Alarm System Digitizer Receiver, a request for additional funds for salaries, incentive pay, dispatcher, pay and incidentals, and a request for additional funds for maintenance of building.
