Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, May 15

Highlights from the agenda for the Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

  • Ernie Boch Jr. will present a check to the Board for the Andrew and Ernest J. Boch Memorial Fund.
  • There will be a public hearing for The Wine Vault Ltd. to see if the Wine and Malt Beverage Package Store License should be suspended, limited or revoked.
  • Norwood Conservation Commission will be submitting notice of a hearing on Wed., June 6 at 7:45 p.m. in Room 12, Norwood Town Hall about the Notice of Intent filed by CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc. at 205 Carnegie Row to allow the redevelopment of the site of the former Home Quarters retail store.
  • Law Offices of Jack P. Milgram will be submitting notice that he represents Abdul Shuman of Norwood whose request for a Hackney License was denied by the Norwood Police on April 9, 2012 and requesting an appeal before the Board of Selectmen.
