Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, Oct. 4

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

• The Board will discuss a vote to approve the extension of hours on New Year’s Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Sunday, and notify all on-premises licensees of extension of hours.
• Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation will be submitting application for the Annual Luminary Night on Sat., Dec. 3, from 3 to 7:30 p.m. with electric power and sound system. Rain date of Sun., Dec. 4, 2011.
• Chief Bartley E. King will be submitting notice of revocation of hackney license of John P. Malafronte, driver for Norwood Town Taxi.
• Chief Michael J. Howard will be submitting a request to insert an article on next Special Town Meeting warrant for emergency replacement of Aerial Ladder #1 for $1.3 million.
