Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, Sept. 27

Highlights from tonight's Selectmen's meeting agenda.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

  • The departments of Public Works and Light and Broadband will be presenting their monthly reports on department activities.
  • Trevor Fromm, EET Management Group, LLC, will be submitting notice that The Vegas Lounge has permanently closed their Norwood location as of September 19, 2011, and are working with a local business to negotiate disposition of the liquor license.
  • Chief Bartley E. King Jr., Norwood Police Department will be submitting notice that School Traffic Supervisor Ann M. Fleming is retiring after 28 years of service and requesting a citation in appreciation of her years of service.
  • Officials from the ABCC will be submitting final approval of outdoor patio for the Olde Colonial Café, 171 Nahatan Street (tabled from previous meeting).
