Always Tired? Tonight's (Nov. 5) Free Virtual Support Call-In Session Is for You
National Sleep Therapy of Norwood welcomes anyone with sleep issues to listen in, participate 7 - 8 pm. Free and educational!

What do Rosie O’Donnell, William Shatner, Reggie White, Regis Philban, Larry the Cable Guy, Shaquille O’Neal, and Roseanne Barr all have in common? All of them – plus over 18 million other Americans – suffer from the sleep disorder known as sleep apnea.
If you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea – or know someone who might have it – you will benefit from the free ‘CPAP Talk – Live!’ virtual support group session on Wednesday, November 5 from 7 – 8 pm (ET). The monthly session is open to all. Last month, 30 individuals from six states joined the discussion. Program host is Eric Cohen, President and co-founder of sponsor National Sleep Therapy (www.nstherapy.com).
A Nov. 5 highlight will be a discussion about the new SoClean unit that cleans a CPAP patient’s mask, hose and water chamber simultaneously. The device, invented by a CPAP user, sanitizes the system by eliminating mold, bacteria and viruses. “If your CPAP isn’t clean, it can be a breeding ground for germs, increasing the risk of getting sick, decreasing the CPAP’s effectiveness,” says Cohen.

Doctors often prescribe CPAP therapy for patients with sleep apnea. CPAP (pronounced see-pap) is an acronym for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. Besides affording a good night’s sleep, CPAP use eliminates snoring so others can sleep better, too. National Sleep Therapy provides the monthly program as a community service.
‘CPAP Talk – Live!’ is held on the first Wednesday of each month, is open to all. Anyone interested in joining the conversation on October 1 from 7 – 8 p.m. (ET): Just prior to the session, call 1-800.204.6655, enter access code 342-2187#. Interested persons may submit questions in advance either via Facebook or use the cpaptalklive.com form. During each session, NST gives away a $25 gift card to one participant. Cohen says, “Our goal is to help CPAP users get the most out of therapy so they can sleep like a baby,” says Cohen. “Together, we can get there.”
