• Ex-Massachusetts housing authority director stole funds to renovate his bathroom, prosecutors say (masslive.com) — A Norwood resident and former Watertown Housing Authority director has agreed to plead guilty to federal wire fraud after prosecutors say he used more than $6,200 in public funds to renovate his home bathroom. Investigators allege he charged fixtures to housing accounts, mislabeled them as work on low-income units, then tried to remove them once authorities started asking questions. He must repay the money and resign from his Newton Housing Authority role.
