Morrill Memorial Library and the Town of Norwood Economic Development Department are thrilled to partner with South Eastern Economic Development Corporation (SEED) for a Borrowing Basics: Lunch and Learn with SEED event for new entrepreneurs and existing business owners.
The program will be held on September 8, 2026 from 11:30am to 1:30pm in the Simoni Room.
Program Description: SEED Corporation in conjunction with MML and Norwood Economic Development Dept will be hosting a Business Basics Lunch and Learn for existing business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. During this free, in-person session, participants will learn the fundamentals of financing a small business, what lenders look for in a loan application, and the funding programs available to start-up and existing businesses. Topics will include the Six C's of Credit, traditional vs. non-traditional lending requirements, and SBA loan programs. The program will be presented by Ashley Ricard, Business Assistance and Marketing Officer.
