February 12

7:06 a.m. - A caller reported a man acting suspiciously near St. Catherine’s of Siena on Washington Street. Nothing was found.

10:43 a.m. - A copper wire theft was reported at Kelly’s Appliance or Plimpton Avenue.

February 15

12:08 p.m. - A fight was reported at One Stop Market on Washington Street. A witness told police that the suspect left and went to the hospital. Thomas Fitzgerald, 31, homeless, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction over $250, and threat to commit a crime.

5:54 p.m. - A caller on Universtity Avenue told police she was hit by a car that fled the scene.

February 16

8:16 a.m. - A car break-in was reported on Washington Street. A wallet was taken.

11:37 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Mountain Avenue, Michael Lennox, 25, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute and possession of a Class B drug.
