Benchmark Clapboardtree Hires New Director of Community Relations

Tracey Taverna Brings Nearly 20 Years of Housing and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Expertise to Role

For nearly 20 years, Tracey Taverna of Dedham, Mass., has satisfied the needs of demanding corporate clients while working for the likes of The Colonnade Hotel in Boston and the Newton Marriott in Newton, Mass. Now she’s joining Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree as director of community relations and calling on her housing and hospitality expertise to help the Norwood-based community’s assisted living and memory care residents thrive.

Most recently, Taverna served as a senior corporate sales manager for Furnished Quarters and as a principal event planner for PlanVent, both in Boston. While working as director of sales and marketing for BW Hotel Tria in Cambridge, Mass., she increased sales by 75%. Taverna earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications from Northeastern University.

“Senior care and the hospitality industry share many commonalities, so Tracey’s expertise makes her a strong addition to our leadership team,” says Patrick Hardy, executive director of Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree. “Every single day we strive to elevate human connection and keep our residents and families connected to what matters most, and Tracey is the ideal leader to help us continue fulfilling our mission.”
