A Bouquet of Cupcakes

A few tips on a delightful and tasty centerpiece.

A couple of weeks ago I had the idea of teaching a class on how to make a cupcakes bouquet.  The outcome was a nice center piece. You can picture it as a replacement for a cupcake stand or even just make it for fun.

A wide variety of flowers can be done with different tips or just a different angle that you hold the decorating bag. Hydrangeas can be done with tip 2D.

  • Decorating bag
  • Cupcakes and icing
  • Toothpicks
  • Styrofoam (you can find in craft stores)
  • Tip 2D

Twist your hand when applying the icing to make the small flowers.

Cover the top of the cupcake making the same movement.

Stick in 2 t0othpicks for each cupcake.
