Here are some suggestions for Staging your Home for the Holiday Season while your Home is on the Market.

Invite potential Buyers in by having a warm and toasty home. If you have a Fireplace now is the time to light a fire during showings and Open Houses. You want the Buyers to visualize themselves living there. A warm home invites them in. This is especially important if the property is empty. When a Home is empty Buyers will rush through it if they are not comfortable. The same is true in the summer months a home should be kept cool.

Lighting is key. Make sure your home is well lit. Invest in timers if needed. A dark home is not welcoming.

Barb Schwarz owner of Staged Homes says: "If you cannot see it, you cannot sell it."  Make sure the yard is clean remove snow, branches, and leaves. Keep the stairs and the driveway shoveled. All of these are important Stage the inside as well as the outside. First impressions count!
