Neponset Valley Humane Society - Pet of the Week

Lily Rose is a pretty, declawed dilute calico cat in search of a quiet home.

Lily Rose is a very loving and gentle declawed cat. This pretty dilute calico (orange, gray and white) is about 5 years old. She has always been an indoor cat and well cared for. Her beloved mom passed away and so Lily Rose needs a new family to love and care for her. She is shy when she first meets new people and will need time and tender loving care to adjust to this major change in her life. Family members, who cannot adopt due to other pets, tell us Lily Rose was a wonderful and devoted companion to her former owner. She is accustomed to being the only pet in a quiet home. Please call Neponset  Valley Humane Society at 781-769-1990 or email nvhumanesociety@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with LilyRose. Due to the severe cat overpopulation problem and in an effort to encourage lifelong adoptions, NVHS does not have set adoption fees for our adult cats.

Other Humane Society News: February is Worldwide Spay/Neuter Awareness Month. Neponset Valley Humane Society will once again be giving away 50 free feline spays or neuters to needy cats in our local communities. Statistics indicate that over 70 percent of cats entering shelters are euthanized due to overpopulation. We can stop this tragedy through spay/neuter. If you would like to participate in Spay/Neuter Awareness month by sponsoring a spay/neuter for a needy cat, please mail your donation in any amount to NVHS, PO Box 544, Norwood, MA 02062. If you need assistance spay/neutering your cat, contact NVHS. Neponset Valley Humane Society is an all volunteer organization. Visit all our cats and kittens waiting to be adopted at neponsethumane.org.
