Neponset Valley Humane Society Pet of the Week - Avery

Super sweet, affectionate and playful young Avery would love to be the only pet in your home.

Avery is a super lovable, affectionate, social, curious, outgoing and friendly young cat. She loves to snuggle in a lap or just be with people. Avery would love to be the only pet in your home. This very pretty girl is about 1-2 years old, happy, playful and thrilled to be an indoor cat. Avery appeared at the home of a local resident and stood outside the door meowing for help. She was not spayed and sadly no owner called to claim her. Avery is of course now spayed and eager to meet a forever family to love and call her own. Please call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781-769-1990 or email nvhumanesociety@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with Avery. Due to the severe cat overpopulation problem and in an effort to encourage lifelong adoptions, NVHS does not have set adoption fees for our adult cats. Our work is made possible solely through volunteers and donations.

Other Humane Society News: Sincere thanks from NVHS to everyone who adopts and makes a lifetime commitment to caring for a pet in need. In addition to our many fabulous felines waiting to be adopted, we also need a home for a very nice Chinese Crested (hairless) dog. Visit our many pets in need of homes on our website, neponsethumane.org. You can help stop this tragic pet overpopulation problem by spay/neutering your pet. If you need assistance getting your cat spayed/neutered, please contact Neponset Valley Humane Society. The Humane Society is in need of a volunteer to help feed a few outdoor cats in Norwood. Call or email for more information.
