Neponset Valley Humane Society Pet of the Week: Meet Lexi
Adopt Lovable Lexi through Neponset Valley Humane Society.
Lexi is sweet, lovable and friendly. She is showing off her cute double paws in this photo. This little 9 month old tuxedo cat is a purring machine. She is social and outgoing. She loves people and is eager for a family to love and call her own. Lexi is very agreeable and seems to get along with everyone. She is young and playful and would make a nice companion for a lonely kitty. Mainly she just wants to be loved and cuddled. Lexi was a stray. She was not spayed, super skinny and starving when she was rescued. She is doing much better now and totally enjoys the safety and comforts of being a strictly indoor cat. Please call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781 769 1990 or email nvhumanesociety@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with Lexi.
Other Humane Society News: NVHS volunteers are currently caring for many friendly house cats in need of forever homes including a 4 year old declawed Burmese cat. We also have an 11 year old Ragdoll cat who would love a quiet home. Please visit our website, neponsethumane.org to see all our fantastic felines waiting to be adopted. October is National Feral Cat Awareness Month. If you are caring for a feral or neighborhood cat, thank you. Please make sure that cat is neutered. Female cats can get pregnant when they are only 4 months old. NVHS offers free spay/neuter and assistance for neighborhood and feral cats. Call for information. Spay/neuter is the only way to put an end to this tragic pet overpopulation problem and ensure every pet finds the loving home they deserve. Please spay/neuter your pet.
