Norwood High School Women's Hockey Next up for Title?

At Marathon we take pride in our Rehabilitation Services, Customer Service, and Community Outreach efforts, and now we an even better reason to boast our Sports Medicine Programs!

In 2012 Marathon took over the Summer Strength & Conditioning Camp at Sharon High School with a primary goal of preparing their Football team for high level performance and reduced risk of injuries from day-one.  The program included Functional and Sport Specific Strengthening, Flexibility, Conditioning, and Agility Training.  From day-one the athletes performed, and on the final-day, this past weekend, they became known as the 'Cinderella Team of 2012'.  The team gathered together on the snow-covered field, proudly holding their new banner beneath the Bentley scoreboard reflecting their 12-3 victory...  The banner read, "Sharon Eagles, Super Bowl Champions." 

This October Marathon also took over the Preseason Performance Enhancement Camp at Norwood High School to prepare the Mustangs Women's Hockey Team the same as they had the Sharon Eagles Football Team.  Once again our goal being high performance and reduced risk of injury, from day one.  The Official Season began this week, and we at Marathon cannot help but wonder if this is the next Championship Team?  The team boasts many returning players, highly skilled athletes, and a motivating team chemistry and camaraderie unlike any team we've trained...  Or have we?  The Super Bowl Champs boasted similar characteristics, come to think of it...
