Pet of the Week: Josie

Josie is a stunningly beautiful black cat with pretty yellow eyes. She would love to be the only pet in your home.

She is super sweet, affectionate and lovable. She is a sensitive cat who was very shy when she was first rescued. She is wonderful with both the adults and children in her foster home now that she knows and trusts them. She is such an agreeable cat that the person who rescued and fostered her initially was able to brush Josie's teeth everyday.

Because she has such a meek and tender personality, Josie will need tender loving care and patience to adjust to another change in her life. She was taken in as a stray with kittens. Her babies have been adopted and now Josie will be spayed and ready to find her forever family.

Neponset  Valley Humane Society is seeking donations for the upcoming Walk for Animals  on May 19 at beautiful  Borderland State Park. The Annual Walk is the Humane Society's most important  fund raiser of the year. NVHS is an all volunteer, all foster  care organization that relies solely on donations and volunteers to help the  animals. Every cat adopted from NVHS is of course spayed/neutered
