Monthlong Halloween Hunt begins!

The Morrill Memorial Library's monthlong HALLOWEEN HUNT scavenger challenge begins on Thursday, October 1!

Choose a team of up to five players (don't forget to give yourselves an appropriately spooky Team Name!). On Thursday, October 1, our 2026 Halloween Hunt Cards will become available on our website, as well as on the Library's Beanstack page.

There are two Hunt Cards from which to choose this year:

• Cryptkeeper (all clues are located on the Library's property)
• Smoke & Mirrors (all clues are located outside the Library, but within the Town of Norwood)

Each team may complete either or both--if they dare! Cards will be available in-person at the Library and downloadable from the Library's website. Or, play along on Beanstack!

Starting on October 1, find the answers to the clues on your Halloween Hunt Card(s). Hunt Cards must be fully completed and returned to the library by Saturday, October 31 to be eligible to win a Grand Prize!

You may turn in your Hunt Cards directly to the library's Reference Desk, or by emailing a clear photo of the full card to: norprograms@minlib.net. If using Beanstack, you don't need to turn anything in; but please designate one member of your team to sign up with Beanstack and log your team's progress!

Every team that completes a Hunt Card will win a small prize by stopping at the Reference Desk (upon turning in your card, or until Friday, November 6 at the latest). Additionally, for every correct answer on your completed Hunt Card, you'll get 1 entry into our prize drawing at the end of the month. We have several prizes, so multiple participants will win!

Many thanks to the Friends of the Library and Books and Bulldogs for generously donating prizes, and to all of our partnering organizations throughout town.
