The Boston Blues Challenge puts local blues acts on stage in a live competition judged by surprise guest judges. It's an exciting chance to catch rising local acts up close as they compete for the honor of representing Boston at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Founded in 1988 to preserve and promote the blues, the Boston Blues Society has been supporting local blues musicians for decades, and this competition is part of that mission.
