Coach's Brief: Norwood Swim and Dive at MIAA South Sectional Meet
The team broke personal bests and meet records on Sunday.

Senior Will Higgins won the 50 yard freestyle, breaking a 25-year-old meet record! He also placed and broke a team record, swimming to a personal best time in the 100 yard freestyle (57.20).
Junior Patricia Lee had a banner meet, swimming to three personal best times and breaking two team records in 100 yard backstroke (1:04.4) and 100 yard freestyle (56.60). She placed in the top 10 in all her events.

Norwood's three relays also placed in the top ten: 200 Medley Relay (Lee, Eddie Hernon, Alexandra Metta, and Higgins) in 10th place; 200 Freestyle Relay (Hernon, Evelyn Metta, Charlotte Rivard and Higgins) in 7th place; and the 400 Free Relay in 8th place, smashing a team record by over three seconds (Lee, Anthony Rodriguez, Evelyn Metta and Jimmy Conley).
Evelyn Metta also qualified for states with her best time in the 100 yard free (:59.4)!
