Crash Shuts Down Neoponset Street

NORWOOD, MA — An evening crash has closed a street in Norwood.

At 8:24 p.m., the Norwood Police Department informed residents on Facebook that Neponset Street at Hazelwood Drive was shut down due to a single vehicle crash. Police say cable and telephone access to area homes were taken out by the crash.

Detours are in place to to direct drivers. As of late Wednesday night, police have not announced if the road was open.
