Elderly Man Found In Norwood Pool Dies

NORWOOD, MA — An elderly man found unconscious in a Norwood swimming pool has died.

Friday afternoon, Norwood police responded to a report of an 82-year-old man found unresponsive in a pool on Albemarle Road, police told the Boston Globe.

CPR and lifesaving measures were performed before the victim was taken to Norwood Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The man's name has not been released.

The death is under police investigation.
