4H Open Barn

Come meet our animals, see our youth and find out more about our programs. At the same time the youth will be hosting "Fun Fall Fotos" with the animals to benefit the club. They will also be collecting non-perishable food for the 4H food drive. The barn is located on Holmquist Conservation Lands on Plain St in Medfield.
Thunder Hill 4H is part of the U/Mass extension program serving youth ages 9-19 in its sheep and dog programs and ages 6-19 in its rabbit/cavy programs. The sheep club is a leasing program in which the sheep are kept together at the barn and youth who wouldn't otherwise have a chance to raise large animals come to the barn to tend them. The dog and rabbit/cavy programs meet at Norfolk Co Agricultural High School in Walpole. New this year is a cloverbud club for youth 6-8, which will meet at the barn the first Sunday of each month to introduce younger youth to the animals and their care.
