Bike Ride: The Pleasant Street shopping corridor

Ride: The Pleasant Street shopping corridor, Sunday. Jun 26th, 1:30 p.m.

6 miles. Departing 1:00 p.m. from the Norwood Library parking lot. Explore how Pleasant Street gives bicycle-friendly access to many Route 1 businesses. We will stop at Kohl’s in the Walpole Mall to present a certificate, signed by everyone, thanking them for their bicycle parking rack. Explore access routes to Home Depot, Stop-and-Shop, Staples, Ocean State Job Lot, Walgreen’s. Return in time for the Norwood Library’s 2-4 p.m. special celebration event.

This ride is free. To participate on this ride, must wear a helmet, you must be a member or apply to join the Norwood Bicycle Club (free in 2011); and you must sign a waiver.

This is NOT a library event. This is a bike club event that will meet and depart from the library.
