Norwood High School Athletic Boosters Fall Frolic Fundraising Gathering

Norwood High School Athletic Boosters will hold their first “Fall Frolic” Fundraiser tonight at the Olde Colonial Cafe from 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

This first “Fall Frolic” is being held to support all sports teams at Norwood High School. The Boosters Club works for all sports. We provide a special “Awards Night” for all teams at the end of each fall, winter and spring season.

The Boosters provide letters and pins for all varsity athletes, and a jacket to the athletes who have earned status through a point system. The Boosters provide all teams, particularly those teams that do not have a support group, with plaques when they win a championship.

The Boosters also award scholarships to Norwood High School athletes going on to college.  Last year we awarded ten scholarships in the amount of $500 each.

Also included in the mission of the Boosters is to raise money to provide extras for the teams that will make the sports programs a little more special for our student athletes. These extras include things like financial support for special trips, special equipment and other things that coaches and players suggest to benefit teams.
