Parkway Concert Orchestra - Open Rehearsals

Experienced  volunteer musicians are sought for Parkway Concert Orchestra's fall season.  There are current openings in the orchestra for bassoon, horm, tuba, and all strings (especially viola, cello and string bass). 

Music Director Matthew Fritz will conduct the 50-piece orchestra in classical and pops selections in weekly Monday night rehearsals beginning September 10, preparing for concerts on November 4, December 2 and 9.  Open rehearsals will be held on September 10 and 17, from 7:30 to 9:30 at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street, Norwood.  Please let us know if you're planning to attend and see if the orchestra is a good fit with you.  Other instrumentalists are also encouraged to respond to have their names included in a list of possible substitutes as needed.  For more information about the orchestra, please call 781-444-5041 or visit the orchestra's web site at
