Phoenix Bike Trail ride, 10 a.m. Sunday, July 31

We'll ride mostly on level, paved, dedicated trail free from motorized traffic, and suitable for riders of all skill levels. We'll ride through woods and marsh with views of Nasketucket Bay and Mattapoisett Harbor. Total round-trip distance about 11 miles. Includes a short ride off the trail to visit Fort Phoenix State Reservation, with an old fort, cannons, picnic tables, and a sea view. Some riders may wish to extend the ride by exploring nearby coastal roads on their own.

Meet at the parking lot at Main and Ferry Street, Fairhaven, about 60 miles from Norwood mostly via Rt. 128, 24, and 140.
Free, all invited, bring helmet and sign waiver.
