Failure to Stop for Police, Possible Shoplifting, and More: Norwood Police Log

10:04 a.m. - A caller reported a man pretending to throw coffee on people and vehicles at the intersection of Broadway and Guild Street. An officer stood by until the man’s father picked him up.

2:00 p.m. - A witness at CVS on Nahatan Street told police that a man with a bag was possibly shoplifting. The manager said he thought the suspect was going to steal razors. There was no evidence any shoplifting happened and the suspect was gone on arrival.

10:43 a.m. - Evan Sales, 28, of Norwood, was arrested on Endicott Street on four warrants.

11:32 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Broadway, police arrested two Pawtucket, Rhode Island residents. Abnildo Brito, 22, was charged with possession of an open container of alcohol and arrested on an active warrant. Travarius Howard, 23, was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, possession of an open container of alcohol, and failure to signal.
