Fake Cash, Stolen Car: Norwood Police Log

January 28

1:14 a.m. - Anastasios Varetimos, 40, of Roslindale, was arrested at the intersection of Route 1 and Pleasant Street and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

8:18 p.m. - Multiple vehicle break-ins were reported near the Knights of Columbus on Nichols Street.

January 29

3:59 p.m. - A gas attendance at Mr. Franks Food Mart on Washington said he received a counterfeit note. Quarri Queen, 20, homeless, was arrested and charged with uttering a counterfeit note. Queen also had two warrants.
