Forget A Check? Town Posts Unclaimed Checks

NORWOOD, MA — If you're low on cash, you might want to check and see if you have an abandoned check at Town Hall

According to documents from the town, has over 40 unclaimed and abandoned checks from 2016 totaling over $3,000.

While most of the checks are low dollar amounts, there are larger checks that have not been cashed. The biggest unclaimed check belongs to Sounder Systems for $462. That check was issued on March 1, 2016. Diaz Construction apparently didn't cash a check for $327.18 issued on April 19, 2016 and neither did One Bailey, LLC, which never claimed a $207.86 check issued on May 17, 2016.
