Investigation Into Crash That Killed 2 Will Take Time

NORWOOD, MA — The investigation into a crash that took the life of two young Norwood residents will take some time, according to Norwood Police Chief William Brooks.
Brooks told the selectmen Tuesday that the investigation into the Jan. 31 crash on Walpole Street could take up to two months to complete. The Norfolk County District Attorney's office has authority over the investigation, with assistance from Norwood Police and the State Police's reconstruction team.
"Investigations of this nature take some time, they are complex," Brooks said.

The head-on crash took the life of 20-year-old Victoria Cody and 22-year-old Alex Pandolfo. A third person in their car suffered serious injuries and the driver of the other car suffered minor injuries.
Individual findings will not be released on a rolling basis. Further information will not be released until all the reports are done, the findings are completed, and the families of the victims are notified of the investigation's findings.
